Saturday Supper

Saturday Supper is a delightful SlowExposures tradition – a time to catch up with friends, recap the day, make plans, and enjoy a delicious Southern meal.
Our caterer is a nearby church, Mt. Venus Baptist Church, who began serving fried chicken in 1972 at a stand at the popular local fair, The Annual Cotton Pickin’ Fair, in Gay, GA. They have been catering events like ours for more than twelve years now. SlowExposures appreciates their amazing food and smiling gracious service at our Saturday Supper!

In Memory of Eddie Joe Parker

Our hearts are saddened by the passing of Eddie Joe Parker, our caterer for many years at Slow. We extend our sympathy to his family and friends. To quote from his tribute,
Eddie was the true definition of a family man. He took on the role as caregiver for his mother after the death of his father. He was his family’s greatest supporter. Family and friends loved Eddie, his laugh was infectious, his heart bigger than life, his grandchildren cherished him. He was simply a precious jewel on earth who loved the Lord.”
We are grateful his family and church will be continuing Eddie’s legacy by catering for us again this year.
