What is a PopUp Tour?
The PopUp Tour is one of the premier events during SlowExposures weekend in Pike County, Georgia. Six to eight exhibits – solo or group – will be staged in nontraditional venues in-and-around the Courthouse Square in Zebulon. Show-goers will collect a unique stamp in their PopUp Passport at each show to exchange for tickets to participate in our PopUp Raffle at the Saturday Supper.
John Bennette has been the Juror for our PopUp Show for a number of years. He selects 6-8 photographers or photographer groups for the Show and curates the exhibits alongside the selected exhibitors, offering enthusiastic and in-depth expertise throughout the process.
The PopUp Tour is open for visitors from Friday to Sunday afternoon (September 17-19). It’s the signature Saturday afternoon event, culminating in the PopUp Raffle* at the Saturday Night Supper that evening.
*Each participant will be asked to donate one print for the PopUp Raffle.
